The London Building, located within the Urban Fira complex, redefines urban living through sustainability, efficiency, and well-being. Developed by AQ Acentor, it comprises 210 residential units (146 private and 64 affordable housing) and stands out for its strong environmental commitment. With BREEAM Very Good and DGNB Silver certifications, it is one of the six pilot projects in Spain to integrate a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of the building.
Designed for contemporary living, Urban Fira Londres offers an extensive community area featuring green spaces, playgrounds, padel courts, and swimming pools, creating an ideal environment for connection and relaxation.

Sustainable Architecture: Innovation and Efficiency
The commitment to sustainability is at the heart of the project. This approach ensures an efficient and environmentally responsible construction, optimizing energy use and reducing the ecological footprint. The building’s design takes full advantage of natural light and cross ventilation, creating bright, fresh, and comfortable interior spaces.
The parking area, designed with natural ventilation and lighting, features large planters on the first basement level, allowing medium-sized trees to grow upward into the outdoor communal areas.
The façade was conceived through a solar study and shadow analysis, optimizing its thermal performance and ensuring efficient comfort throughout the year. Each living room opens onto cantilevered terraces that provide shade from direct sunlight, enhancing the homes’ overall energy efficiency.

Renewable Energy
On the rooftop, a 70 kWp photovoltaic installation provides clean, renewable energy. Since peak solar production typically occurs when residents are away from home, a 45 kWh battery storage system has been installed, allowing energy to be stored and used for self-consumption throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Design and Management Efficiency with BIM
To optimize the entire design, construction, and building management process, Urban Fira Londres was developed using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology. This digital model enhanced collaboration among teams, validated construction solutions, and helped prevent cost overruns.
The use of BIM also facilitated the thermal performance analysis of the building, ensuring energy efficiency and optimizing resource use. Moreover, this digital model will remain a key tool for the management and maintenance of the building throughout its entire life cycle.
Homes Adapted to Modern Living
Urban Fira Londres has been designed to meet the needs of contemporary urban living. Of the 210 residential units, 64 are social housing and 146 are private homes.
With built areas ranging from 45 to 110 m², all homes feature spacious terraces with views of the street or the communal areas. Designed to maximize comfort, each space benefits from natural ventilation and daylight, ensuring bright, pleasant, and energy-efficient living environments.
