The building is located along the new Badalona canal in the El Gorg neighbourhood. This area has experienced incredible growth in recent years and its value has increased considerably thanks to the new port and the new urban connections to the centre of Badalona, making it an axis linking the city to the sea. It also stands out for the versatility of its uses, its unsurpassed accessibility to the city of Barcelona and its airport, its high mobility, the development of its roads, and the quality of its green spaces.

Functional Programme

The building is located on a plot of 3,077.38 m². In defining it, we have followed the specific volumetry that allows us a certain flexibility in the interior design. The project consists of 108 apartments with 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms that can be grouped into a total of 10 different typologies.

On the ground floor, there is a commercial space open to the canal, the main access, and part of the building’s car park, which, together with a basement, comprises 154 parking spaces and 108 storage rooms. On the first floor, there is a communal area with a swimming pool, a solarium, a green area, and a children’s playground.

Unique Design

Given the proximity to the sea and the canal, we opted for a horizontal composition of the facade that evokes the waves of the sea. The white GRC facade framing the terraces and the brown ceramic facade of the apartments are used to emphasise the building’s colourfulness, which is reminiscent of nautical designs.
