WAY OF THE SIGN II

The second edition of this book on signage applied to spaces. A selection of more than 50 projects from around the world, including an ON-A project, the metro station of Sant Andreu (Barcelona). This edition begins with a prologue written by Eduardo Gutiérrez, founding partner of the studio.

Eduardo Gutierrez, ON-A partner is invited to participate in the jury of the international architectural competition organized by the City of Sofia (Bulgaria) for the project of a metro station in the city.

DEDALO MINOSSE INTERNATIONAL AWARD 2010/11

ON-A and Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona win a special prize at the eighth edition of Dedalo Minosse International Prize for the underground stations Drassanes and Sant Andreu. The formal awards ceremony took place on Friday June 24 at the Palazzo Trissino in Vicenza(Italy).

Catalog of the exhibition of the international architecture awards Dedalo Minosse 2010/11 delivered by the ALA-Assoachitetti. In this eighth edition TMB and ON-A have been awarded a special prize for their collaboration in the Barcelona stations of Drassanes and Sant Andreu.

WAY OF THE SIGN is a compilation of projects from around the world where signage and graphics applied to space are so important that they are part of the essence of the project and thus acquire a dimension that goes beyond practicality and functionality. On March 29th, ON-A participated in the UNDER 40 Forum organized by Grupo Via. “This architecture forum brings together the most outstanding young studios of Catalonian architecture to analyze their successful experiences, the contests they have won, challenges they’ve faced, as well as their new working spaces and sustainable social commitments”.

SEMINAR PRESENTATION

ON-A participates in the press conference to present the Seminary project. Jaume Pujol explains to the media that the objective of the renovation is to convert the building into a first class cultural center at the service of the city. Then the building is toured to see the state of the works.
